Holiday Hours

Standard hours of operation are 7:00 AM-6:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Following are Holiday hours of operation IPM Lithographics Inc will be closed. Please take this under consideration when scheduling jobs. Production time for estimated completion dates on project do not include Weekends or Holidays.

NEW YEARS DAY - January 1st
MEMORIAL DAY - Last Monday in May
INDEPENDANCE DAY - July 4th
LABOR DAY - 1st Monday in September
THANKSGIVING DAY - Fourth Thursday of November
DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING
CHRISTMAS - December 25th

The week between Christmas and New Years is typically slow. Many staff members want to be with family & friends and take vacation during this week. This means a skeleton crew is working, usually just managers and production is non-existent.

Overall Project Status

The current job page has an overview showing overall status of each project in production. There might be several pieces to each project. Once all the pieces for the project is completely through each stage the overall status wording changes. The descriptions below clarify the terms of status wording used to identify each stage in the production cycle as it pertains to the overall project.

NOT RECIEVED: Customer has scheduled a project a specific time of entry into production. Not received indicates the job has not been received from the customer.

ON-HOLD: There is a problem with this project. This could be a proof has been sent and has not been returned, a file required has not been received, or clarification of information provided is needed. This status means we cannot proceed. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS STATUS. Your project will be delayed until issues indicated are resolved. A link with a description of the problem is provided for clarification.

GRAPHICS: Project is currently in the graphics department.

PRE-PRESS: Everything has been approved and plates are being produced.

PRINTING: Project is scheduled for or is currently on press.

BINDERY: Project is through printing process and has been moved to the bindery area.

MAILING: Project requires mailing and is ready to be addressed, sorted, strapped and readied for the Post Office.

POST OFFICE: Project is being delivered or is at post office for their approval, has been approved and is being shipped, or is at the required point of entry. DELIVERY: This indicates the project is scheduled for or is being delivered.

COMPLETE: Indicates project is complete and will be or has been moved to history.

Detail Project Status

The job details page show individual profects within the overall project. An overall project might be to print letterhead, envelopes and business cards. The job details page shows the status for each individual project (i.e. the letterhead, the envelopes, and the business cards). The descriptions below clarify the terms of status wording used as it pertains to each individual project.

ON-HOLD: All individual projects are put on-hold until it has been accepted and any questions resolved. Once a project has been accepted an on-hold indicates there is a problem with this project. This could be a proof has been sent and has not been returned, a file required has not been received, or clarification of information provided is needed. This status means we cannot proceed. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS STATUS. Your project will be delayed until issues indicated are resolved. A link with a description of the problem is provided for clarification.

NO FILE: A file required has not been received on FTP site or via other means.

GRAPHICS: Project is currently in the graphics department scheduled to be or is currently being worked on.

OUT ON PROOF: A proof has been sent and a signed receipt has not yet been attained. A proof needs to be check off as OK for printing, or corrections needed prior to proceeding with production.

PRE-PRESS: Approval has been provided and film is being produced.

PRINTING: This individual project has been scheduled or is currently on the press.

COMPLETE: This individual project is complete and is waiting for other jobs to be completed in order for the overall job to move to the next location. Once all individual projects are indicated as complete the overall project status is a better indicator as to where in the production cycle the overall project is.
